AAUW Morro Bay (CA) Branch
The Morro Bay Branch has served Morro Bay, Cayucos, Los Osos and San Luis Obispo on the
Central Coast of California since 1959. Currently our branch has 54 active members and is
focusing on growing our membership to better serve the Mission and Policy of AAUW. Our
Branch assists AAUW National in advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy,
education, philanthropy and research.
Membership in AAUW provides a variety of rewarding experiences including opportunities:

- To attend interesting and thought-provoking monthly General Meetings featuring
Presenters who discuss topics such as women’s issues, current events and other topics
of general interest. - To participate in Special Interest Groups and other events that provide opportunities to
meet other women who believe education is a lifelong process; - To form friendships and working relationships with other college graduates through our
branch business meetings, social gatherings and fundraising events; - To develop leadership skills by holding Committee Chair and Board positions in the
Branch; - To strengthen personal and professional skills and talents.

Our Branch General Membership meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday September through
May in Morro Bay. Our meetings are held either in-person or on Zoom and open to the public.
